Policies and Guidelines
Publishing Policies and Guidelines
At Editon Consortium Publishing, we are committed to upholding the highest standards in book publishing. Our policies are designed to ensure transparency, quality, originality, and ethical integrity throughout the editorial and production processes. These guidelines apply to all books published under our imprint.
Manuscript Review Process
All book manuscripts submitted to Editon Consortium Publishing undergo a rigorous editorial assessment. Upon submission, manuscripts are subjected to a plagiarism check to ensure originality. If significant plagiarism is detected, the author is promptly notified with the option to revise and resubmit or withdraw the manuscript.
Once a manuscript passes the originality check, it is reviewed internally and/or externally by editorial consultants or reviewers with subject matter expertise. This review focuses on:
- Relevance and clarity of the content
- Originality and contribution to the field
- Literary and scholarly merit
- Structure, style, and coherence
Authors receive detailed feedback and may be required to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer recommendations. The revision process may be repeated until the manuscript meets the required standards for publication.
Editorial Integrity and Conflict of Interest
To maintain editorial impartiality and the integrity of our publications:
Managing editors or members of our publishing team submitting their own manuscripts will have their work handled independently by a different editor. They will not be involved in any part of the editorial decision-making process related to their manuscript.
Editorial board members who submit book proposals or manuscripts will undergo the same impartial editorial assessment, with reviewer identities and authorship anonymized as part of our editorial best practices.
All reviewers and editors are expected to declare any potential conflicts of interest and recuse themselves where necessary.
Review Evidence and Author Feedback
While traditional peer review is more commonly associated with academic journals, we strive to provide authors with substantive editorial feedback. For academic or research-based books, authors may request evidence of editorial review and assessment for institutional or funding purposes.
Ethical Standards
We adhere to international standards for ethical publishing. We encourage all authors to:
- Ensure proper citation of sources
- Avoid plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or data fabrication
- Observe respectful and accurate representation of people, communities, and cultures
If you are preparing to publish with us, these policies are designed to support you in creating a high-quality, credible, and professionally presented book. At Editon Consortium Publishing, we don’t just publish books—we amplify voices and ideas that matter.
